You can keep up to date with new common names for pesticides as they are added to the Compendium of Pesticide Common Names by subscribing to this RSS newsfeed:
|Updates to the Compendium of Pesticide Common Names
(RSS version 2.0)
Updates to the Compendium are not very frequent – only a few new common names for pesticides are provisionally approved each year.
You can also receive alerts by e-mail, by subscribing to the Alerting Service.
Sadly, RSS newsfeeds are not as widely supported as they used to be. The latest versions of the Internet Explorer, Opera and Safari web browsers allow you to subscribe to and read RSS newsfeeds. Recent versions of Firefox and Google Chrome have removed built-in RSS support and they now require an add-on or extension to read RSS newsfeeds, such as Slick RSS for Chrome or Feedbro for Firefox. Microsoft Edge does not support RSS newsfeeds.
If your browser supports RSS feeds, click the orange icon next to the name of a feed, and it should open in your browser. Then just follow the instructions for subscribing. If your browser needs an add-on or extension, click its icon and follow the instructions for subscribing.
There are also stand-alone RSS reader programs, such as SharpReader for Windows.
