Tripods

Tripods

TO BE WRITTEN

Full-size tripods

Normal size tripods with centre columns that reverse or swivel to allow the camera to be near the ground, e.g. Gitzo and Manfrotto. Very awkward to use reversed column unless a horizontal arm is fitted to allow the camera to be positioned away from the legs.

Tripods with largest section at the bottom, so can be used in streams, marshes or rice-fields, e.g. Benbo and ***.

Miniature tripods

Low-level tripods, table-top tripods, e.g. Manfrotto and Novoflex.

Ground plate

Leica table-top tripod
