Notes: | This substance is considered by the International Organization for Standardization not to require a common name; “thallous sulfate” is given as an alternative. The parent acid is also considered not to require a common name, see sulfuric acid [7664-93-9]. The chemical name “thallous sulphate” (硫酸亚铊) is approved as a common name in China. The Chinese name “硫酸铊” has also been used in the literature, but it has no official status. In ISO 765-1976, the names given are “thallium sulphate” and “thallous sulphate”, but ISO now requires the “f” spelling for sulfur and its compounds. |
