Updates to the Compendium are not very frequent – the ISO committee meetings at which new names are provisionally approved are normally held only twice each year.
Only your name and your e-mail address will be stored. They will not be passed on to any other person or organization, and they will not be used for any purpose other than sending you messages about the Compendium. Your name and your e-mail address will be deleted if you ask to stop receiving e-mails or if e-mails cannot be delivered.
The Alerting Service is not required to register with the United Kingdom’s Information Commissioner because it qualifies as a ‘not-for-profit’ organization and the data is used only for establishing or maintaining membership or support.
